William Hutson is a Senior Manager in IBM's Software Group, and works on the commercialization of "Watson," the advanced question-answering system featured recently on Jeopardy! He received his M.S. and a Ph.D. in Human Factors Engineering at North Carolina State University. He is a member of the Marine Corps Reserve and has served three tours in Iraq, working recently as a field historian, in which capacity he has conducted detailed field interviews with over 800 Marines.
