Sid Reynolds is founder, president and CEO of The Signature Agency, a strategic public relations and marketing consultancy that serves fast-growth life science companies. Sid blazed trails public relations and marketing, advertising, vertical trade magazine management, territorial sales management and market research. She formerly served as editor-in-chief of four vertical trade magazines, publisher of a magazine for family physicians, and editorial director of an international trade magazine publishing firm.  She has authored numerous trade journal articles. As a healthcare marketing communications executive, Sid is respected for her contribution to public relations research and measurement methodologies and is viewed as a dynamic strategist. She played leading roles in launching community cancer center branding initiatives as well as leading innovative medical convenience solutions, e.g., chest pain centers and extended hours clinics. Currently, she is active in developing value-based hospital communications solutions and integrating safety/quality-related initiatives in healthcare. In addition, she has positioned and launched products from medical devices to some of the world’s leading molecular diagnostics.  Sid received her undergraduate degree in agricultural journalism and mass communications from Kansas State University. Her graduate work included aspects of marketing research/statistics, human behavior, and business-to-business marketing management as well as the law of mass communications – specifically trademark, copyright and regulatory (FDA/EPA) compliance.

Sid has been married for 37 years to Ed Reynolds, a residential contractor.  They have two children, Ashley, a PhD neuroscientist who currently is finishing her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Tyler, a business leadership major at the University of Dallas.  Ed and Sid are members of Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Raleigh, North Carolina.
